Mt. Zion respnded as mutual aid to South Wheatland Fire to a reported house on fire on Allphin Ave. Upon arrival firefighters found the house heavily involved in fire. Mt. Zion's crews assisted South Wheatland, Decatur, Harristown, Blue Mound and South Macon. The fire was brought under control fairly quickly however, extensive overhaul was required. One Mt. Zion Firefighter required hospitalization due to possible injuries suffered from a ceiling collapse.
